The tech gadgets I can afford

A new Bluetooth acquisition

I accidentally left my favorite bluetooth earpiece in a pocket and it went through the washing machine.  Needless to say, it no longer works. I reverted to using an older one for a while.  And then started using my retractable neck band instead.   Although the last  was the most satisfying, I really wanted my original back.  Then I saw a deal on one of the many deal sites for these touch earbuds.

They are the Latest bluetooth version, touch enabled (they turn on and off by touching the buds, with audible confirmation) .  One of the nice aspects of these are that the case is also the charger.  So when they need charging, you simply put them in the case (they magnetically attach fairly strongly) and they charge with a red light on each indicating charging and a blue light indicating that they are fully charged.  A particular downside, in my opinion is that the charge lasts only about 2-3 hours.  Also there is a button in the case to start charging, although they start charging as soon as you put them in their places.  Whenever I press the button, the red lights go on in the earbuds and will stay red for about 5-10 minutes before turning blue and then turning off.

Even though most earbuds don’t stay in my ears, these do because of the extra hook on the earbud “frame.”  You can see the hook in the picture below which also shows what comes in the package.  The nice drawstring black case that holds the charging case is missing in this picture.
